The Law of Attraction / by Alex Austin

I happened to be in the right place in the right time. I allowed it to happen.  Use the guidance. Trust the guidance from my higher self.

My car was totaled. I got a certain amount for it. I saw a car that appealed to me within that price. It took me 20 seconds to find it on Craigslist. In a way it’s a step closer to what I want in my ideal vehicle. In a way it more is my ideal vehicle than what I previously stated. It is like witnessing a miracle. The vehicle history was ideal. The memories associated with the vehicle were good. It was going from one set of loving hands to another. They were of very deep pockets and spared no expense at upkeep of the vehicle. It was used on trips for skiing, kayaking, camping all over Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas. They loved it. Just like I’ll love it. Thank you universe. For hooking me up. One more time. Like you always do.

For some time as an exercise to see if I could prove the law of attraction works, I thought I would try to attract a luxury SUV into my life. Though part of me thought it was obnoxious, I kept trying to visualize attracting a BMW X5. When I was a valet parking cars in San Francisco (during my college days) I really enjoyed the feeling of driving X5’s, so that’s what I aimed for. All throughout art school I heard the term ‘starving artist’ so often that mindset of lack was starting to find a permanent residence in my head. So I wanted to challenge that mindset to myself intentionally. Instead what the universe fluidly delivered to me was better than a BMW. A car that I had mentally drooled over every time I encountered its design on the road. A Land Rover LR3. Thank you, universe!
